About
Atlantic Lodge began its life as a 17th century gate house to the adjacent Rockville House. In an area steeped in history the lodge retains its old-world charm while being restored with a modern day feel. The grounds, which once contained an apple orchard are now farmed using regenerative agriculture practices.
We would like to welcome you to escape to the North West and take in the slower pace of life whilst having the space and freedom to create or just unwind. We have everything to accommodate your next getaway.
Atlantic Lodge consists of two private semi detached houses. Atlantic Lodge Céad and Atlantic Lodge Dara. Atlantic Lodge Céad has three bedrooms, one double, one twin and one single room. Atlantic Lodge Dara has three bedrooms, two double and one single room. Houses can be booked individually or together for larger parties. We can can accommodate up to five people maximum in the each Lodge. Rockville house Bed & Breakfast is also located on the grounds. To book please use the contact form.

Among the scenic beauty of the coastline we also have a number of renowned surf beaches in Bundoran and Rossnowlagh for all levels, not to mention ample swimming spots and secret waterfalls.
Hiking & Trails
Whether its a short stroll or long walk we are close by to many trails and hikes. We are also just across the Erne from the Knather Woods. The quiet road around along Assaroe lake is perfect for cycling.
History
Ballyshannon is steeped in history, claimed to be the oldest town in Ireland (among many). William Allingham, Rory Gallagher, Mary Shelly and Bram Stroker all are descendants of the town.
